I offer a 4 different Private Training packages. These packages focus on building a strong foundation of basic commands and manners. I use positive reinforcement and teach your dog techniques to understand what you do not want to ensure your dog learns because they want to, not because they are forced to. Whether you're dealing with a stubborn young dog or an older dog needing a reboot, my training is designed to be effective and enjoyable. These packages cover the obedience you need and the manners you want.  Sit, place, come, look, no and calm walking prioritize a happy, well-adjusted dog ready to thrive in any environment.

The Training

My Training packages have been created by me for the benefit of owners and the dogs/puppies, for the best results. By training with positive reinforcement and learning what you do not want, your dog/puppy will learn commands in a way that fosters trust and love. It enables you to not only build a relationship with your dog but you will earn your dogs respect as their leader. This enables your dog to becomes a well-adjusted and happy member of your family. If you want other commands or tasks trained we may be able to incorporate them into the package you choose.

Each package is designed for your dog/puppy's needs. The packages are different lengths to help you and your dog/puppy train at a pace and structure you are comfortable with. After completing any of my packages you will have a trainer for the life of your dog. I will be available to answer any questions you may have in the future. If new issues should arise in the future we can tackle them together again. Each package requires a first visit consultation. Contact me today to set up your consultation.

Crate/Kennel

Crates/Kennels are a very important tool in training. I believe that every dog/puppy needs a crate/kennel in order to be safe, comfortable and to know they have a place of their own. Crate/Kennel training is a must. It makes any other training so much easier. We all live in human size crates to keep ourselves safe and comfortable, we just call them homes, houses, apartments or condos.

Nail Trims

Nail trims are an important aspect in a dog/puppies well-being. I have a short course to teach owners how to do it themselves so that you can save time and money. Having the knowledge and ability to trim your dogs/puppies nails can also save them from the anxiety of going somewhere to have it done by a stranger.

E-Collar Training

E-Collar Training for me is all about teaching dog owners how to use e-collars positively and humanely to train their dogs effectively. This is very important to me. E-collars have evolved and they are not the same as shock collars once were. I offer a 4 session e-collar training.

I do not believe in using the e-collar for 'shocking' purposes. I ensure that you are taught how to use the e-collar in a positive and humane way. My definition of an e-collar is that it is your 'my-fi' leash. The rest of the world has gone wireless, why not allow your dog the freedom he/she desires to go leash-less.

Private Puppy Training

If you would prefer private training for your puppy that is 8 weeks and up I can accommodate that as well. My sessions are designed to provide puppies between the ages of 8 weeks to 6 months with the essential social skills they need to grow into well-rounded adults. I focus on neutral interactions with another dog, people, and various environments. Sessions include exposure to different sights, sounds, and situations, helping puppies build confidence and reducing the chance of developing fear-based behaviours in the future. These sessions lay the foundation for a happy and social dog.
