A Balanced Approach
I believe in a balanced approach to dog training. This means using a combination of consistency, clear communication, timing and reinforcements to teach your dog new behaviours. I also involve lots of movement and play in my training practices. My method focuses on building a relationship between you and your dog, so you understand what each other needs for success. I teach you how to use food rewards and corrections to help your dog learn more desirable behaviours. This approach makes training more effective and ensures that your dog is happy and confident throughout the learning process. When you build a relationship with your dog their personality shines through and they become the dog you want to be around.
I believe in fun and creative training experiences for dogs/puppies and their owners by helping them build or rebuild their relationship. My mission is to teach you how to balance your training so that you may have a better relationship between you and your dog. I will ensure that training is a positive experience for both of you. As a certified trainer I use many techniques to teach dogs of all ages and breeds. I specialize in training Puppies ages 8 weeks to 2 years. I also offer Private Training and Board & Train tailored to meet your dogs/puppies needs of any age. Positive e-collar training is available for those wishing to have off leash experiences with their dogs. I believe that a happy dog is a well-trained dog, and I am committed to helping you achieve that so you can enjoy your dog.
One of the core principles of my training philosophy is to ensure that every training session is filled with compassion and fun. I understand that dogs, like humans, learn best when they are in an encouraging environment. By incorporating play, praise, and food into our training sessions, you make learning fun for your dog. This not only helps to keep your dog engaged and motivated but also strengthens the bond between you and your furry family member. Training should be an enjoyable experience for both you and your dog, and I strive to make each session something to look forward to. With my unique way of training things happen and progress very quickly.
Puppy Training
Puppy training sessions focus on essential social skills and learning manners and socialization.
I do private training for puppies at your house, in your neighbourhood, in stores or other busy areas to help socialize your puppy. 8 weeks and up.
I can bring them into my home and treat them like my own and do the training for you. Then show you how to maintain the training. 8 weeks and up.
I offer outdoor group classes for puppies. These classes offer socialization, which is learning about different life experiences, obedience and manners. 8 weeks to 20 weeks.
Private Training
Any dog of any age can change their behaviour. Whether they are 2 years old or 10 years old you can teach any dog something new. You do not have to live with unacceptable behaviour.
My private sessions can be in your home, neighbourhood, stores or anywhere you want to take your dog.
We will teach your dog effective obedience/manners and reinforcements for living with you wherever that is.
Private training offers a different view on training. You and your dog can learn with me and then practice in and around other distractions when you are ready. Or we can add those distractions in together in one of our sessions. The possibilities with 1:1 training are endless.
I can focus specifically on your dog and the problems they are having in your home. Together we can come up with the type of solutions that work best for you and your dog.

Do you believe your dog is untrainable?
Is your dog frustrating you? Are they acting crazy? Have they 'picked up' unwelcome behaviours? Jumping, barking, lunging, not listening or growling.
If you've said yes to any of the above questions, it's ok, you're not alone. I have seen many dogs with unruly behaviour. These problems can be challenging and embarrassing.
If you don't have time to fix these issues, that's where I come in. I love a challenge. I will take your dog into my home for an agreed upon amount of time. I will treat your dog/puppy like one of my own and help them learn new ways to behave properly in a human's world. I will dedicate my time to helping your dog. A better dog will come home to you.
My Boarding Service provides a safe, comfortable, and interactive environment for your dog while receiving training. When your dog is in my home they receive their own personalized day plan for learning what you want them to know. They will learn or relearn obedience/manners and to behave properly wherever you are going to take them. Crate training, exercising and focusing are also added to your dog's program.
